On tap today, we’re introducing our first post in a new monthly feature where we’ll be sharing our current favorites across the entertainment, style, and nourishment boards.

This monthly write-up is our way to share some of the things we’re loving lately and hopefully, to save you some time – from scrolling through your DVR to writing out your grocery store list.

The People v. O.J. Simpson.

Between Fargo, American Horror Story, and now, The People v. O.J. Simpson, FX is quickly becoming one of our favorite networks. We can still remember watching the live drama unfold in the televised O.J. freeway chase, and this behind-the-scenes series offers a gripping inside look at the key players in the highly publicized double homicide case.

Hollywood Medium.

E! Reality shows have what we like to call the ‘Lifetime Movie Effect’ meaning that no matter how many times we see the preview clips for a new show and swear we’ll never spend our weekends watching it, we’re hooked within the first 5 minutes of the premiere. Juicy E! Originals are as addictive as the cream filling in Oreos, which leads us to admitting that we’re completely hooked on Hollywood Medium. We kind of want to become celebrities just so we can have a sit down session with Tyler Henry.

House of Cards

We’re not going to lie, we’d vote Frank Underwood for prez. House of Cards returned to Netflix on Friday, and we’re binge-watching and getting our fill of Kevin Spacey’s southern twang.

Saddle bags.

Saddle bags, with their curved shape and long straps, are perfect for spring. They sit comfortably on your shoulder, especially when you aren’t wearing a bulky winter coat. Check out this one here.

Wine, Bachelorette & Yoga Pants Tank Top.

We’re about to wrap up our third season in a competitive Bachelor Fantasy League, and this tank says it all, perfectly describing our happy place of wine in hand, pants without buttons, and unsolicited, ongoing commentary.

Fancy Ramen. We like to throw it back to college every once in a while with a fancy and gourmet ramen dish. Ramen is cheap, easy to make, and with enhanced flavors and veggies, it can be a pretty amazing meal. A couple of our favorites: Thai Peanut Chicken & Ramen Soup and Vegetarian Miso Ramen with Roasted Sweet Potatoes.

Crockpot Soups. With warm weather on the way, (at least, we like to think it’s on the way) we’re getting our fill of Sunday meals courtesy of the slow cooker. Two of our favorite finds that are regularly on rotation in the kitchen are this Potato and Corn Chowder and this Skinny Vegetarian Mexican Chili.
