After a snowy start to April in some regions of the country, ahem, ours, it appears that spring-like temperatures have finally arrived. Better late than never. This recent weather warm up has our cravings shifting and our counter top kitchen appliances trading spaces. See ya come football season, crockpot. Our blender is now front and center.

This one’s reserved for those days, okay weeks, where we’re feeling all sorts of “I need chocolate. And I need it now.” Rather than crack open a container of Ben & Jerry’s at 7 a.m. we fuel up on this smoothie and it hits the spot, leaving us satisfied til our mid-morning snack.
