9 Emotions We Experience During The Bachelorette Premiere

The Bachelor

By De & Kate

In honor of opening night of The Bachelorette (no shame in our game) we’re breaking down all the premiere feels in gif fashion. Because if a picture is worth a thousand words, then a gif has got to be worth a million.

Thought the crazy train was reserved for contestants? Think again. We’re right there riding the emotional rollercoaster alongside them, racking up fantasy league points as we go along.

Here’s a look at the evolution of feelings we experience as the night progresses and our wine inventory takes a hit.

Chris Harrison undoubtedly just told us to stay tuned as this season is guaranteed to be the most dramatic in franchise history.  Enough of the small talk, let’s see these men.

Limo 1 has officially arrived and we can practically smell its mix of cologne and bourbon from our couch.

The limo introductions are The Bachelorette’s bread and butter. No visual effects or cliff hangers necessary. At this point, the show’s producers can sit back with the rest of us and watch the mix of awkward moments, instant connections, and nervous laughter unfold.

By whatever antics one of the guys undoubtedly pulls in efforts to get that first impression rose.

Is that an emotion? You know what we mean. There’s bound to be at least one drop-dead sexy guy in the mix…maybe two or three if you’re lucky.

By now, the contestants have all arrived and we’re actually nervous for them. We wouldn’t wish that first impression rose on anyone. It’s like fraternity rush and a speed dating event mixed into one.

At this point in the evening, shit is getting weird. One person’s naked in the pool, someone else is crying in a corner, at least 1/2 of the house is acting as if they’ve never been to an open bar wedding before, and we’ve learned enough about the contestants that we could co-write their sob stories biographies.

A little weirded out

There’s always one guy who professes his love on the first evening, or something equally uncomfortable.

Aka, our resting face while watching The Bach. Because, LBR, by the time the first round of roses have been distributed, there’s a lot to be stunned about. The more we gawk in episode one, the higher our hopes for the season.

Tell Us: Do you watch The Bachelorette? What do you love about the premiere?
