Autumn seems to have snuck up on many of us this year. I know some people feel sad to say goodbye to the summer months but there’s certainly a silver lining. The other morning, I woke up and really felt the crispy air, even though the sun was shining brightly. It made me think about changing up the wardrobe from summer to winter and planning for the colder months ahead. With that in mind, I began browsing the new autumn collections and was pleasantly surprised at how much was going into my basket! Here’s seven items that definitely should be on your wish list this autumn:

An Autumnal Candle

I don’t think you can honestly go through a winter without having at least one Bath & Bodyworks Candle burning somewhere in your house – and now they have launched their Autumn Candle collection, you’d be crazy not to want to have one of these in your house!  I certainly can’t wait for our house to smell like Christmas every day. ($22.50, Bath and Bodyworks)

A Chunky Watch

Next on your list this autumn has to be a Bulova Watch from The Discount Watch Store – which is my favorite place to buy designer or branded watches. My autumn watch this year will be the  Women’s Classic Silver Tone Watch. I love a leather strapped watch in the colder months; I find the metal straps are too cold on my skin and sometimes don’t look right with more winter-styled outfits. This, however, will be perfect! ($64.76, Discount Watch Store)

A pair of UGG Boots

UGG boots need to be a staple in your wardrobe. Whether it’s summer or winter, I always have a pair on the go as they are so comfortable to wear and they last so damn long. UGG has also revamped their styles throughout the years – they’ve come a long way from the classic shape and silhouette. UGGs are perfect for the colder months – and they also look fab with skinny jeans. ($300, UGG)

A cozy blanket

Now that we are in September, anything goes when it comes to buying autumn or winter accessories. With that, you will definitely need a fluffy blanket for your couch. It will get so much use this year, and the next. Come on cold evenings…I need you! ($24.99, Target)

An Oversized Sweater

You probably know The White Company as being a place to buy amazing candles that smell unreal, however, they also sell clothing that is perfect for the colder months to come. While browsing their women’s collection, I came across this gorgeous boucle sweater that I instantly fell in love with. Imagine snuggling up on a cold winter’s evening wrapped in this, or going out to watch the fireworks, being all cozy and warm. ($160, The White Company)

A chunky scarf

Everyone needs a super soft, chunky scarf for the chillier months and this one from Zara fits the bill perfectly. Light-weight yet still thick and chunky, perfect! The Basic Scarf from Zara can be worn with almost anything. ($22.90, ZARA)

A puffy vest

Everyone needs one of these in their wardrobes. While these vests are a little expensive for half a jacket, they are definitely worth it. Think about all the times you might want to feel cozy and warm but it’s not quite cold enough for a full jacket. It’s the perfect compromise. ($100, Fat Face)
