It’s here, it’s here, it’s finally here! After months of waiting, the Netflix reboot of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is finally here. We’re not sure about you, but our plans today are pretty much – get into comfy clothes and watch all day long. Oh, and eat. Because if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that no Gilmore Girls viewing party is complete without a fabulous array of snacks. With that, here are 10 recipes that will inspire you to have the best Gilmore Girls sesh possible:
1. Homemade Pop-Tarts
Obviously we had to start here – it’s a staple among Lorelai and Rory. Recipe and photo via Saving Desert.
2. DIY Pizza Bagels
What’s better than pizza? Pizza on a bagel of course! Recipe and photo via Six Sisters Stuff.
3. Dessert Sushi
We’ve wanted to try dessert sushi ever since that episode when Lorelai and Rory ate some at their makeshift “let’s travel to Asia” party. Recipe and photo via Sweetest Kitchen.
4. Brownie Bowl Sundaes
Lorelai and Rory love dessert – especially ice cream – so obviously this is a necessity. Recipe and photo via The Fork Bite.
5. Nachos
We know that the Gilmore Girls love them a good chip. And if there’s cheese? Even better. Recipe and photo via Love From The Oven.
6. French Fries
Fries > guys. Who cares who Rory ends up with, as long as there’s fries? Recipe and photo via Sweet C’s Designs.
7. Lo-Mein
Lorelai and Rory always have takeout cartons around them. Grab your chopsticks and do a DIY lo-mein for lunch. Recipe and photo via Damn Delicious.
8. “Chunky Monkey” trail mix
Pretty sure that Lorelai and Rory wouldn’t eat trail mix unless there was chocolate inside. Recipe and photo via Cotter Crunch.
9. Homemade Kettle Corn
It’s the perfect combination of sweet -n- salty. Recipe and photo via Yummy Healthy Easy.
10. Soft pretzel bites.
Aaaand now we’re starving. Recipe and photo via Platings and Pairings.
Yummmmm X 10!! 🙂
