Treat Yourself Holiday Gift Guide

By De and Kate

Last week, we showcased some of De’s favorite beauty finds to add to your holiday shopping list for the make-up loving person in your life. Today, we’re continuing with the trend of gift guides, this time featuring a special treat yourself spin.

We all know how crazy the holiday season can get, and it’s easy to fall into the trap of feeling guilty when taking time for ourselves. That being said, we’re adamant believers that caring for yourself is just as important as caring for others. We’ve rounded up a few gifts that’ll encourage the people you love to take a load off, put their feet up, and relax into the joy of the holiday season.

Dark chocolate

Not only are these chocolate bars delicious, they also support a good cause. Each year, 10% of their net profits are donated to their GiveBack Partners. It’s a win-win gift.

A good read

As far as Christmastime novels go, we absolutely love Elin Hildebrand’s Winter Trilogy. The series is a great way to offer your family and friends an escape to Nantucket, without the pricey travel arrangements of course.

Eye pads

What better way to unwind than with cucumber, aloe, green tea, chamomile, and Vitamin E infused treatment pads? Just reading the description makes us feel relaxed.

Seasonal Candle

Since we can’t all swing Christmas at the beach this year, may as well bring the beach to us. Besides, nothing says warm and cozy quite like a seasonal candle.

Movie tickets

Heading to the movies is such a nice treat, and with movies like Collateral Beauty and Office Christmas Party each in theatres this December, tickets are the perfect gift.

Comfy socks

Because, let’s be real, can you ever have too many quality, warm, cotton socks? We don’t think so.

Hand cream

Dry hands seem to come with the winter territory. Luckily, there are some amazing hand creams like this one from Aveda that help to heal whatever tough weather throws our way.

Hot tea, cocoa or coffee

Holding a warm mug and sipping our favorite hot beverage is one of the best ways to ease into the morning and settle down at night.

Permission for your loved ones to treat themselves granted.
