And just like that, summer is over. Okay, technically it’s not quite over yet. But we are beginning to dust off our fall decor and we’d be committing a lie of omission if we failed to admit that we’ve already started stocking up on pumpkin spice everything – ’tis the season! Before guzzling down our inaugural PSLs of 2017, filling our bellies and Instagram feed with apple cider doughnut holes, and tossing on our beloved flannel tops, we figured we’d soak in the last bit of summer by sharing our current favorites.
Here’s a quick look at some of the things we’re all about lately:
Our love for The Bachelorette runs deep. So naturally, when Kaitlyn announced her new podcast a few months ago, we couldn’t wait to listen. She’s just as funny on air as she was on TV, offers all the best behind the scenes scoop we crave, and we’re pretty convinced that she’d be our friend IRL.
This show is the ultimate whydunit of the summer and Jessica Biel slays. Literally. Figuratively. All of the above. It has a Gone Girl-esque feel to it and we can’t stop watching the thriller unfold. Thank you USA for giving us something creepy to consume until season 2 of Stranger Things premieres.
Aka workout leggings. It’s hard to justify the steep price tag on some exercise gear and luckily, Old Navy doesn’t make us have to try. Their outfits are affordable, comfortable, super cute, and (bonus points!) they aren’t see through. Meaning you don’t have to spend half your time in downdog wondering if the person behind you is staring at your chevron underwear print.
These Vegan, Gluten Free, and Dairy Free beauties via The Beaming Baker are what dreams are made of. True confession, as soon as we’re down to the last couple bars, we whip up another batch. Because, we adhere to 2 rules: nobody puts baby in a corner and nobody goes to bed without dessert.
Finding a matte lipstick that won’t dry out your lips can be a challenge, which is why we’re totally into this product from Tarte lately. With over two dozen shades, you can’t really go wrong.
I mean, it’s probably the same thing as a coffee coolata or a frappucino, but it’s still delicious — and perfect for those summer afternoons when even an iced coffee just won’t do.
Can you tell we have sweets on the brain this month? These ice cream bars are like the delicious treats you got from the ice cream truck as a kid, except dairy free and somehow that makes them healthier right? (Right?)
There’s something so much fun about coloring, and these books add a “grown-up” twist to the childhood pastime. (Probably because they take twice as long and are three billion times as hard.)
In the comments, tell us: what are you loving this month?
