By De and Kate
To say that we’re fall enthusiasts might be an understatement. We are all about this season’s colors, tastes, looks, and feels. We’ll happily pour ourselves PSLs and stroll through crisp leaves any day. So, rounding up our current favorites is a task we’re happy to take on today.
Here’s a look at the things we’re loving lately!
Entertainment
Queen Bee
We just flew through this quick and easy read. It’s the perfect ‘before bed’ book, as the characters are engaging and the story line is captivating, but it’s not so suspenseful that it will keep you up at night.
This Is Us
Since we’re now in season 4 of following the Pearson family, This Is Us is hardly new news. But, it’s a contender for best show ever and we’re really excited about this year, so it had to make it onto our list. Not to mention, Rebecca is our timeless style icon.
Workin’ Moms
All three seasons of this hilarious show are currently on Netflix, and should be required viewing for any parent. (You need to laugh, OK?)
Style
the Open-Front Sweater
While we’re in that time where it can be 50 degrees in the morning and 80 by the afternoon, we can’t get enough of an easy on, easy off cardigan like this one from Old Navy.
Chunky, Oversized Flip Clips
Did you hear? The ’90s are back, and what better way to indulge in middle school nostalgia than with a set of oversized flip-clips, like these from Urban Outfitters.
Scrunchies
Speaking of ’90s hair accessories, nothing will take you back to the era of Dunkaroos and sleepovers faster than throwing your hair into a ponytail with a scrunchie. Get these satiny ones from Forever21 here.
Nourishment
Roasted Butternut Baked Penne
It’s still early in the season, we’ve already made this recipe from How Sweet Eats twice, and we’ll be keeping it in our dinner rotation for months to come. It’s truly delicious and can easily be prepared vegetarian.
Yogata Girls
We’ll admit, this one’s a bit of a shameless plug, since it’s Kate and her mom’s YouTube Channel. That being said, it can be tough to find the time and money for yoga and fitness memberships. Enter this free opportunity to get your vinyasa on in the comfort of your own home.
Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew From Starbucks
Arguably the best pumpkin drink, ever, hands down. If you haven’t tried it, make it a priority this fall.
Healthy Pumpkin Muffins
If your pumpkin cream cold brew leaves you wanting even more pumpkin (too much of a good thing…is a good thing), these healthy pumpkin muffins via Gimme Some Oven are quite possibly our #1 fall recipe recommendation. They’ve become a standard breakfast favorite around here, husband and toddler approved.
Super Sour Scandinavian Swimmers
It had us laughing to include sour gummies in our nourishing favorites, but we ultimately figured that these are good for the soul. Trader Joe’s recently added these to their shelves and we promptly bought multiple bags. No shame in our candy game.
Lifestyle
All the, fall things
As homeowners, we are contractually obligated to cover our house in fall décor to the point where it looks like Jack Skellington had one of his Nightmare Before Christmas meltdowns all over the living room. It’s just how it is, we don’t make the rules.
Emily Ley Academic Wall Calendar
We love anything that helps us to put the million things floating in our minds onto paper and Emily Ley products do just that. Her designs are all simple, fun, and user friendly. And this wall calendar has been our golden ticket in keeping our family work/travel schedule, appointments, and meal planning all in one place.

Bigelow’s Ginger & Peach Herbal tea (for those who love a calm stomach every day) with honey.
Buying cheese flights and then using all the different “adult” cheeses to make intense grilled cheese sandwich (add arugula and roast beef and you’ve got yourself a masterpiece;).
