We may be biased in believing that growing up in the 90s was the best. After all, every generation seems to have a little nostalgic pride when thinking about their own version of “the good old days”. That being said, we wouldn’t trade our pre-iPhone childhood for anything, and we’re still amused looking back on the things that occupied our time and energy growing up. If you were a fellow stirrup leggings and Starter jacket girl of the 90s, then chances are, you too had these laughable arguments with your best friend. Continue reading

I have no shame in admitting my love for Full House. And I don’t just mean that I enjoyed watching it as a kid. I’m as happy to hang out with the Tanneritos today as I was 20 years ago. Like any true fan, I’ve also seen every episode of Fuller House and may or may not be cueing up Netflix for the Season 3 premiere tomorrow.
We’re now late enough into the game that I’ve come to accept that Michelle probably won’t be making any Fuller House appearances, yet her legacy surely lives on.
Allow these 10 gifs to remind us of the fact that Munchkin really is all of us: Continue reading
If you’re anything like us, you’re perpetually stuck in a Throwback Thursday. And that’s totally okay. Hopefully your friends are too. And when it comes to shopping for those ’90s-obsessed folks, you may feel like you might want a time machine in order to just bring them back to the decade they so desperately worship. But luckily, there’s the Internet. And there’s lots of gifts out there for ’90s babes. Warning: You’re going to be obsessed with these gems and probably want them for yourself. Continue reading
A very merry early Christmas to us, season 2 of Fuller House is returning to Netflix today! And you better believe we’ll be cozying up on the couch this weekend to catch up with our favorite fictional childhood family. We’re quick to admit the storylines are cheesy, and Lord knows, we’re still wondering how Danny afforded that $4 million Victorian home. Let’s be real, hosting Wake Up, San Francisco was a good gig and all, but not that good of a gig. Continue reading
Back in middle and high school, Friday meant one thing (aside from TGIF of course): SLEEPOVER TIME. We can still remember packing our overnight duffel, rolling up the sleeping bag, choosing our favorite stuffed animal, and getting a ride from our parents to our BFF’s house. Continue reading
Picture this – you’re in your bedroom, or at a friend’s house at a sleepover, watching that show you know your mom would kill you for watching. You’ve got the volume down low, and you’re ready to jump into action at the slightest indication of footsteps in the hall. You know the drill. We dedicate this piece to all the 30-year-old women who can still remember the thrill – and slight panic – of watching these shows and movies with remote in hand, hovering the ‘last’ button at all times. Continue reading
Having grown up during the 90s, we know we’re likely to always have a bit of nostalgic bias for the fashion trends, snacks, movies, and TV shows during that time. After all, TGIF was more than just a mumble sleepily murmured as we rolled out of bed on Friday morning, it was our livelihood come Friday night. Assuming our parents ordered us a cheese pizza, the pre-widescreen TV set to ABC was all we needed for 2 full hours of entertainment. Continue reading
While we’re all about scrolling through new movie releases most Saturday nights, or heading to the theater – if for no other reason than the buttery popcorn – we still have a sentimental draw to our childhood favorites. We’re talking the ones we watched so many times that it would have made more sense to buy the VHS than to hit up the same Blockbuster aisle again. Continue reading
If we’re being honest, we kind of feel like the 90’s were yesterday. We refuse to believe that Titanic was released nearly 20 years ago (WHAT) because it honestly feels like last week that we were grabbing our popcorn buckets and feeling totally ~grownup~ because we got to watch a movie that contained not only a naked woman but also a sex scene. Gasp. Continue reading
Oh, to be young again. Wouldn’t it be great if we could just hop in a time machine for the day to revisit our childhood for just 24 hours? (Let’s be honest, we wouldn’t want to stay too long, especially if said time machine took us to Middle School or something.) Truth be told, we’d probably just be in it for the snacks. So, allow this post to be your tour guide back in time, via the memory of your taste buds. Here are 10 snacks you probably won’t see anywhere ever again. (Insert sad emoji here.) Continue reading
