While there’s not a whole lot we can all agree on in 2017, one thing is for certain: Fall is the best season. Between its crisp air, changing colors, delicious flavors, and plentiful activities, it’s got a little something for everyone. I’d only made it through a third of the documentary, What The Health, last month before making up my mind. I was ready to make the transition from vegetarian to vegan. Or should I say, 90% vegan, because an all-or-nothing mindset and ultra-strict lifestyle has rarely worked for me.
I rummaged through our cupboards and fridge, taking stock of what we had on hand that would work within my new plan, and which items I’d need to say sayōnara to – like beloved mac & cheese (goodbye my love)! Continue reading
In college, Trader Joe’s was my most serious long-distance relationship. With 2 ½ hours between campus and our closest TJ’s location, my roommate and I would eagerly anticipate care packages full of our beloved goodies and we’d stock our backseats full of groceries to bring back to school after every break.
In the 8 years since graduating, I’ve been lucky enough to live in places with closer proximity to Trader Joe’s. Meaning, my trips are much more frequent and my kitchen is rarely without my favorite finds. While I could undoubtedly create a list of 100 products worth purchasing, these 11 are the ones I buy in bulk. Because, God forbid I go a day without coconut oil. Continue reading

National Donut Day is a modern marvel, because it happens twice each year: once in June and once November. Nobody knows exactly why, though many have guessed. But when it comes to donuts, the more the merrier, right?

Now that fall has officially begun, we can fully embrace the season of gourds, leaves, cooler weather and, of course, pumpkin! However, with the saturation of pumpkin into ABSOLUTELY everything (seriously, they have pumpkin spice Pringles, something absolutely no one was wishing for), it’s nice to branch out into other fall-themed recipes.
Here are seven recipes that celebrate fall’s best produce without featuring pumpkin. Continue reading
One of my favorite things about health and skincare is that I can find a lot of natural remedies with things that I find in my house, which is especially nice because I’d rather have a few multipurpose products than many single purpose ones. One of my absolute favorite products is olive oil because it has a million different uses both health and beauty related – and it’s super easy to find. Here are five ways to use olive oil outside of the kitchen. Continue reading
We the ladies of Thirty On Tap love to bake. So much so that we’ve tossed around the dream of running our own storefront sweets shop or cupcake truck on more than one occasion. Reaching for our mixing bowls and measuring cups isn’t only our creative outlet, it’s also a (delicious) form of therapy. Continue reading
